Samsung to Launch Galaxy X with Foldable OLED Display | Samsung X Launching Date 2019 / Features/ Prices:

Korean Giant Samsung is planning to launch a new phone tentatively the successor of S9 & S9+ (Galaxy Series) with a foldable OLED display. As per anticipation Samsung flagship new Smartphone may be called “Samsung X” & it seems to be launched this year with foldable Display. After receiving huge revenue of $61.5 billion in 2017 last quarter, Samsung also going to launch its Galaxy S9 & S9+ flagship Phones in Mobile World Congress scheduled in Spain.

Samsung Galaxy X with OLED Folded Display

The world’s largest smartphone maker Samsung hasn’t revealed the name of the device which will consist of OLED foldable Display but the chances are high that Samsung may surprise the community with launching Galaxy X or Samsung X later this year as a successor of the present Samsung Galaxy Series S9 & S9+ phones.

During a public earning call during for 4th quarter with investors Samsung highlighted that Samsung will continue its efforts to differentiates smartphones with cutting edge technologies such as OLED Foldable Display. In addition based on report from The Korean Herald Samsung has showed Galaxy X to a small group of investors & attendances & seems to complete the entire project of OLED Foldable display soon & the launch may happen sometime later this year.

Samsung X Project –

Based on The Korean Herald report Samsung with its first foldable smartphone is fully committed to the project & might have shown the project privately to some attendances in CES 2018 Las Vegas both inward folding and outward folding phones. Designed expected to be adopted first by Samsung. The report also has specified the bendable phone may have a 7.3-inch foldable OLED Display/ Screen that could be unfolded to make a full-fledged tablet.

Samsung Galaxy X/ Samsung X expected Launching Date:

Samsung on February 25th, 2018 is going to launch flagship Samsung Galaxy S9 & S9+ in Barcelona (Spain) & as expected we might get a little hint or announcement about the Samsung X or Samsung next project on folded OLED Display Phone.

Samsung is considering all options, but we’re still a month away from the unveiling of the Galaxy S9 duo and the spelling or project details of Samsung “10” are problems for next year.

Earlier in Consumer Electronics Show CES Tech Show 2018 Samsung’s chief of the Mobile Handset Business, DJ Koh confirmed that the Company’s First Foldable Phone shall be launched in 2019 whereas on last occasion Koh said that the foldable OLED Display phone may arrive by the end of 2018 (Later this Year).

About Samsung Galaxy ‘X’ or Samsung X-

Some rumors have claimed that the Samsung’s Galaxy S9 will be the last of the S series and in future their successor will be the dubbed Galaxy X or Samsung X on the Apple’s X imitations. On the other hand Samsung’s foldable phone is somehow hinted but company never officially confirmed the naming of Samsung S9 Series successor.

Some reports suggested that Samsung is apparently looking to get rid of the Series’ Naming Scheme & this suggest that aspirants will get a new Galaxy X module phone in 2019.

On other hand some rumoured based on Samsung’s naming scheme or doubling the S series might appear oddly and on Apple’s latest iPhone X, Samsung may introduce “Galaxy X“.

Samsung Foldable Screen:

Based on reports/ public briefings it is expected that Samsung with its next flagship smartphone will come up with a foldable Display Phone.

Other Technology Trending News:

LG is also seems planning to modify its naming scheme in the flagship LG’s G series this year. The company is expected to ditch the ‘G’ branding from 2018 onwards.
